# Robotaxi tracker, October 2026

## Columns

- `city`, `country`, `region`: the city as the operator names it.
- `city_status`: the most advanced status of any operator in the city.
- `operator`: operator, with the ride-hailing partner in brackets where there is one.
- `operator_status`: A = fully driverless and paid (nobody in the car to drive or monitor, the public can book and pay); B = driverless with restrictions (invite-only, free, staff-only or a fixed pilot route); C = safety driver on board, carrying passengers.
- `status_since`: month (or year) the current status started.
- `notes`: restrictions, area or fares as stated by the source.
- `source_url`, `source_date`: the source for the row and its publication date. Status checked on 2 October 2026.
- `core_lat`, `core_lon`: a point we chose in the core of the service area (WGS84). It is not an official centroid.
- `osm_drivable_road_km_5km_circle`: length of drivable road (highway motorway to residential and living_street, plus _link roads; service roads and tracks excluded) within 5 km of the core point, counted per carriageway.
- `osm_maxspeed_share_pct`, `osm_lanes_share_pct`, `osm_maxspeed_and_lanes_share_pct`: share of that length with a `maxspeed` tag, a `lanes` tag, and both.
- `osm_maxspeed_share_pct_2020`, `osm_lanes_share_pct_2020`: the same shares on 1 January 2020.
- `osm_snapshot`: OpenStreetMap snapshot date in the ohsome API.
- `data_date`: date of compilation.
